The Young Investigators Group
The Young Investigators Group (YIG) is the student organisation of the Quantum Science and Nanomaterials Interdisciplinary Thematic Institute (QMat). It manages and organises the Strasbourg Students Physical Letters, the Young Investigators Congress (YIC), the Geometry for Quantum Science Group, the QMat Student Seminars...
On past occasions, we also organised lab visits, attendance to foreign conferences...
We gather approximately once every two months, beginning with QMat's welcome day mid-September, and our first meeting is generally held on the beginning of October.
At this occasion, we elect a Board whose members are tasked with the administration of our projects. We also encourage and seek to coordinate student initiatives, especially among QMat students. The YIG Board comprises the 2SPL Editorial Board, and the student representatives to QMat's Extended Executive Committee.
If you have any question or proposition to make, please contact a member of the Board, we are happy to help!
